Josephine Capozziello's Portfolio
About Josephine

Growing up in the fruit and vegetable business offered early exposure to
both the common and exotic. Variously shaped in riots of color, these
objects with contrasting textures and shapes energized all of my senses.
Pay special attention to my
Food images where I hope you will enjoy
these interesting forms and textures.

I am attracted by luscious forms and textures accented in provocative
shadow and light. My goal is to highlight objects that we ordinarily
overlook or have become too numb to see as we rush through our day. A
flower, an orange, partner, spouse, rocks, children, recycling, radishes, a
banana . . .

Ordinary
can be spectacular! My images cover a wide range of topics as I
use close-up and macro techniques with light and shadow manipulation
to both cloak and reveal what is right before our eyes yet we fail to see.
